BUILDING ENCLOSURE COMMISSIONING (BECx)

Our BECx services help clients achieve a high-performance, fully integrated, and constructible building enclosure by working collaboratively with the owner, design team, and construction team.  At the core of the BECx process is the Owner’s Project Requirements (OPR).

We provide a variety of different BECx options based on the project type and client needs:

  • Commissioning
  • Retro-commissioning
  • Re-commissioning
  • On-going commissioning

Envelope Air Leakage Requirements

Performing a pressure test (blower door test) on the building thermal envelope will determine the envelope air leakage rate, and verify if the leakage is below the maximum allowed by the energy code.  Our BECx process produces exceptional results, helping you to achieve the performance you are striving for.
